The following is a list of the deed and easement merge forms. These files are provided in Microsoft® Word and Corel® WordPerfect format for your use. Instructions that follow will explain how to use these forms with other word processing programs.
The documents listed are the City's current (January 5, 2004) standard deed and easement merge forms for use on public improvements in the City of Salem. Download the merge form to your computer before using. Use these forms "as is." Do not alter the standard language contained in these forms in any manner. Upon review of your submitted form by the City, if altered language is found, the form will be rejected. If you believe alternative language is absolutely necessary, the language must have prior approval of the City Attorney's Office before document is signed by Grantor and submitted to the City.
These documents are City of Salem documents and you should consult an attorney if you have any questions on their applicability or use on your project.
Instructions for completing the merge documents can be found in the document entitled "Instructions" listed below. Please refer to that document before using any of these merge forms to create your finished product.
