Ambulance Transport Provider

In July of 2005, the City of Salem Fire Department entered into a Public/Private partnership to sub-contract ambulance transport services with Rural/Metro Ambulance. 

Currently, Rural/Metro staffs four 24-hour and two 12-hour peak period ambulances.  Salem Fire also maintains four reserve ambulance units to assist during times of high call volume.
